Built in 1847 under the aegis of King Léopold I, the Royal Saint-Hubert Galleries are a veritable jewel in the Belgian heritage crown. Designed by Jean-Pierre Cluysenaar, they are home to the Galerie du Roi, the King’s Gallery, Galerie de la Reine, the Queen’s Gallery, and the Passage des Princes, the Princes’ Passage, and form an elegant 250-metre long arcade under a spectacular glass roof.
From the day of their grand opening, they became the meeting place for artists and intellectuals.
